Costa Vicentina beaches

The Costa Vicentina has a diversity of beaches that please everyone! From the most deserted to the best known, from the most rocky to the more extensive beaches or with the vegetation to the beach, those for families or those ideal for surfers. All with their own characteristics and all with one in common: the own and unique beauty of the Costa Vicentina Natural Park!

ODECEIXE BEACH
When going from north to south on Costa Vicentina, this is the first beach in the council area of ​​Aljezur. It is a popular beach for families, surfing, fishing and even diving.

VALE DOS HOMENS BEACH
This is one of the most beautiful beaches in the area of ​​Rogil, where the natural landscape and tranquility reign. It is also the closest beach to Hotel Alcatruz. The sign in the center of the village indicates the direction. Then follow a 3-kilometer course through fields and groves.

CARRIAGEM BEACH
In the center of Rogil there is a sign for Carriagem beach. Follow the road, through the pine forests and ending at the parking lot near this almost pristine beach.

AMOREIRA BEACH
After leaving Hotel Alcatruz, south on EN 120, and before arriving in Aljezur, you will see a sign for Amoreira beach. With its extensive golden sand, framed on one side by Mediterranean vegetation, on the slope of the river children can play rested. The surf here is also successful.

ARRIFANA BEACH
Traveling further south on the EN 120 and after Aljezur, there is a sign indicating the way to Arrifana beach, one of the surf meccas on the Costa Vicentina. On this beach the conditions of this sport king of the southwestern Algarve are among the best in the country and are also known abroad.

VALE FIGUEIRAS BEACH
The access to this beach is via the road EN 120 that goes from Aljezur to Vila do Bispo. After about two kilometers, there is a sign indicating Monto Novo and Vale Figueiras, which is more than five kilometers away. The natural environment here is exquisite and the vegetation extends down to the beach.

BORDEIRA OR CARRAPATEIRA BEACH
After leaving Aljezur towards Vila do Bispo, follow the road EN 268 and after about 13 kilometers you will arrive at one of the most famous beaches of the Costa Vicentina.

AMADO BEACH
It is located south of Carrapateira and has access routes, the first being more direct, using the EN 268 shortly after leaving Carrapateira. The other begins just after Bordeira beach and is more winding, but offers fabulous views of cliffs and cliffs. This beach is ideal for surfing.

MURRAÇÃO BEACH
In the EN 268 that leads to Vila Bispo, there is a 5-kilometer course through a valley surrounded by hills now covered with rock ores that lead to one of the most beautiful beaches in the southwest of the Algarve.
