Activities in Costa Vicentina with Hotel Alcatruz

In partnership with specialist firms, Hotel Alcatruz organises guided tours of the Vicentina Coast Nature Reserve in which the hotel is located.  We organise walks along the cliffs and beaches with our partner Rota Vicentina, cycling or trips in 4x4 vehicles through the countryside respecting the spirit of ecotourism and conserving Nature!

These trips can be further enriched by hiring specialist guides (historians, biologists, geologists, etc.) to accompany you, by booking in advance and for a minimum number of people.

Based on the lengths of these trips and provided advance notice is given, Hotel Alcatruz, in association with Pão do Rogil, can supply packed lunches or snack meals for participants.

These activities can be arranged for organised groups or individuals over weekends or longer periods, and transfers from Faro airport to Rogil, and bicycle or other equipment hire can also be pre-booked.

In the evenings, visitors may enjoy the local cuisine for dinner.

Several packages are available, according to the type of activity and number of participants.  Prices can include picnics and evening meals, but road-books can be acquired for those interested in venturing out without the need for a guide.
